What is The Bard's Artist Fund?

The Bard's Artist Fund exists to support artists and creatives by helping them access opportunities, develop their craft, and bring creative projects to life.

Funding is made possible through sales of Bard's Beans coffee.

Every bag sold contributes to the fund, helping us support the creative community one cup at a time.

What Can The Fund Support?

Funding may be used for:

• Training and professional development

• Travel to auditions, performances, exhibitions, festivals, and creative opportunities

• Creative projects and productions

• Materials, resources, scripts, scores, and software

• Recording, production, printing, and exhibition costs

• Opportunity-related equipment and project expenses

Who Can Apply?

Applicants must:

• Be aged 18 or over

• Be an artist, creative practitioner, creative entrepreneur, or individual working in a creative field

• Be able to receive payment by UK bank transfer (BACS)

Applications are welcomed from individuals based anywhere in the world.

How Are Applications Assessed?

Applications are considered on their individual merits.

Factors considered include:

• Potential impact

• Artistic or creative benefit

• Feasibility

• Alignment with the purpose of the fund

• Available funding at the time of assessment
